Winter is an ideal time to watch your bird feeders for a couple reasons: 1) birds are drawn to these easy and nutritious supplemental food sources during this challenging time of year, and 2) it's sure nice to watch birds from the comfort and warmth of home! Join us for a morning watching feeders virtually on the Ontario FeederWatch cam hosted by the Cornell Lab of Ornithology and volunteer Tammie Hache. We're hopeful some northern winter birds will show up such as Pine and Evening Grosbeaks, Common Redpolls, and perhaps even a Ruffed Grouse. And we're super excited to have Ontario feeder host Tammie join us to talk about her feeders, her regular bird visitors, and her interest in birds. You won't want to miss it! This trip is free but advanced registration is required. A computer or smart device with a microphone and internet connection is required to join this event.
