The skies are filled with migrating ducks and geese right now, and identifying the more than 25 species that visit Iowa at some point in the fall can be a fun challenge. We're partnering with our friends at Wild Birds Unlimited in Ames to host a virtual waterfowl identification tutorial and we hope you can join us! We'll learn how colors, shapes, sizes, and behaviors complete the picture of a successful ID, and we'll also discuss where to look for these exciting fall birds. This event is free but advanced registration is required. A computer or smart device with a microphone and internet connection are recommended to join this event, but there is also an option to call in.
